Headmaster's welcome
Headmaster's welcome
At Willington Prep, we have only one purpose: we are wholly dedicated to giving every pupil an exceptional childhood, rich with opportunities and experiences. This fundamental purpose resonates through every aspect of our school life and shapes our commitment to our pupils and their families.
Nestled in the vibrant community of Wimbledon, Willington Prep is a co-educational haven for children aged 3 to 11, celebrating 140 years, in 2025, of nurturing young minds and hearts. Our embrace of co-education in 2020 marked a new chapter in our story, one that reinforces our belief in a family-oriented environment where every child matters.
At the heart of a Willington childhood is the happiness and self-assurance of our pupils. Guided by the enduring values of kindness, honesty, respect, and humility, we strive not only to educate but to inspire a lifelong journey of learning and discovery.
Our exceptional team of educators brings to life a broad and vibrant curriculum, supported by a rich tapestry of co-curricular activities. We see childhood as the very essence of life's foundation, a time to be valued, filled with wonder and growth. It is this philosophy that underpins our ethos: to cherish and elevate every moment of this pivotal stage of life.
While other schools may offer co-education, our approach is seasoned with our unique celebration of childhood, honouring the individuality of each young learner. This commitment has not only set us apart but also deepened our resolve to nurture a generation of confident, compassionate, and culturally aware individuals. Our children are multinational, multi-faith and multi-talented.
Thank you for your interest in Willington Prep, where childhood is not just a phase, but the heart of our 'why'.
