Occasional Places
The main point of entry to the School is via Nursery or Reception, however, occasional places may arise when families relocate. In the first instance, please contact Lucy Walton, Registrar, via admissions@willingtonschool.co.uk for space availability.
The follow process applies for occasional places:
Visiting the School
You will be offered an individual appointment with the Headmaster, Mr Keith Brown and a tour of the school. For those families relocating, a zoom call may be arranged.
Register your Child
The first step is to register your child with us by completing our online form and submitting the registration fee of £150 (click here).
Reports and References
After registering your child with us, please submit a copy of his/her last school report. At this stage we will write to your child's current school for a confidential pupil reference to support their application.
The Taster Day
Pre-Prep Applicants will be invited to spend either a morning or a day in their proposed class taking part in the usual curriculum activities. Mrs Henery, Head of the Pre-Prep, will spend one-to-one time with your child assessing their numeracy and literacy and observing their engagement, behaviour and fit for our unique learning environment.
Prep Applicants will be invited to spend the day in their proposed class and take part in the usual curriculum activities. Mr Thisanayagam, Deputy Head - Academic, will oversee their CAT (cognitive ability tests) which are taken online. Feedback will be sought from all teachers on your child's engagement in class, behaviour and fit for our unique learning environment.
Remote Assessments may be arranged for families relocating from overseas.
