Despite the odd shower a great time was had by all at the annual Parents/Staff football night sponsored by Coombe Residential.  The 10^th anniversary event saw the usual pitch side bouncy castles, ‘frying squad’ fish and chip van and of course the Signal beer tent.   It was also brilliant to say hello to many former parents and old boys who certainly gave us veterans a run-a-around. Many thanks to the brilliant POW team for all their assistance. As we know, it’s not all about the football on footy night and all 8 teams and spectators had loads of fun. But I will whisper it quietly…well done to the Staff team who narrowly defeated the excellent Year 3 dads’ team in the final.
